HOW I GOT HERE
Before real estate.
Before Power Real Estate I was a full-time college student at UCR, graduating in 2022. Along the way I worked at PacSun, Pokebowlz, and a movie theater. I always knew I wanted to do something entrepreneurial — I never wanted a traditional job. My parents actually pushed me to get my real estate license when I was much younger, but I ignored them (definitely regret that). It wasn't until COVID, when I had more time, that I decided to go all in.

THE REALITY
Unorganized. I was a solo agent, still in my last year at UCR, and I tried a little bit of everything without a real plan. The thing that surprised me most? How much of everything you're really doing on your own as a solo agent.

THE LESSON THAT STUCK
Run it like it's your own business, not like you're a Power employee. To be profitable, you have to be a data-first business. Track your numbers. Know them. Think long-term. Have a cadence and a rhythm to your workflow.

Follow-up + Systemization
Follow-up. I can withstand longer sale cycles (which are normal in real estate) because my follow-up doesn't quit. I've systemized everything I do with buyers and sellers so every client gets the same consistent level of service.
